Chicas Latinas de Sacramento to give 400 pairs of new shoes to school
Every Woodbine Elementary student will receive a pair

October 26, 2015 (Sacramento):  Chicas Latinas de Sacramento will donate more than 400 pairs of new shoes to students at Woodbine Elementary School on Wednesday, October 28. The donation amounts to a new pair of shoes for every student at the school.

“We are so grateful to Chicas Latinas and the generosity of the group’s membership,” said Superintendent José L. Banda. “I look forward to seeing our students enjoying their new shoes.”

Chicas Latinas de Sacramento is a philanthropic 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with more than 200 members devoted to supporting each other as emerging leaders.
